The first time you open My House UI for Control 4, the application will automatically start searching for Control 4 Directors for you to connect to. If you don't want to wait for the application to find the Director, you can click on "Add.." to input the IP address yourself.

Once Directors are located, select the one you'd like to use and press "Connect".

The IP address of the Director will appear above the "Connect" button when you are connected to that Director.

Once connected to a Director, the application will prompt you to update the project, which loads the project onto your iPhone/iPod Touch.

Press the "Update" button.

A message will appear to indicate that hte project is loading. This can take from 1 to 5 minutes - or longer, depending the size of your project.

This is equivalent to "Refresh Navigators" in Composer. Whenever you hit "Refresh Navigators" in Composer in the future, you will have to also come to this screen on each iPhone and iPod Touch and press "Update" to load the changes to your project.

When the update is complete, you will automatically be taken to the main COP screen. It will default to the first room in your project.

To change rooms, press the room name at the top of the screen, and a room selector will appear.

Select the room you'd like to control.

Proceed just as you would with any of the Control 4 touch screens.
